Equally passionate about providing customers with an outstanding culinary journey, we're seeking a Manager for our Flour Station Markets.
About the role:
We're searching for a Market Manager to oversee the daily operations at Flour Station Market, ensuring smooth functionality and top-notch performance. As the Manager, you'll lead the sales team in the markets, driving towards sales targets, crafting business strategies, and maintaining operational excellence and organisational standards. Your role will involve training and supervising staff, alongside administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have exemplary leadership qualities.
Every day is different at The Flour Station, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Coach and develop everyone in the team to maximise their potential and be capable of proving your knowledge and passion for bread.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Lead the team members with training and development initiatives.
- Ensure a clean, safe market environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maximise contribution by helping to achieve budget sales and controlling costs while also managing stock, inventory, and labour costs.
- Assist with training, development and motivation of staff in order to achieve highest possible levels of customer service and performance.
- Place orders and control inventory as required.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations.
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised environment.

- Experience in a similar role, with a strong passion for baking and food industry in London.

- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen maintenance practices.
