Job Title: Associate Fixed Income Trader Contract Type: Permanent Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 24th July 2024 We are currently looking for an Associate Fixed Income Trader to join Royal London Asset Management in our Trading Team. You will execute across various asset classes, specifically in Fixed Income, FX & ETD markets, in the most appropriate way to achieve Best Execution for clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to sit amongst an experienced team of Traders and grow and develop in the role. About the role Execution of Fixed Income orders across credit, rates FX and ETD products to provide optimum trading outcomes for clients. Ensure all orders are executed in a logical, risk-controlled manner with a high sensitivity to fiduciary responsibilities and ensuring we achieve Best Execution. Develop SME and a good understanding of chosen asset classes to improve execution outcomes for Clients and add value across the investment process. Develop a good understanding and ability to trade other non-core markets (Eg Derivs, FX etc) To provide value-add feedback to Portfolio Managers including colour on relative value situations, trade ideas, events, macro themes. About you Experience/knowledge of Fixed Income trading of FX/ETD products. Strong Data/Analytical skills (ideally Python, VBA, PowerBI) Relevant trading experience in Fixed Income products. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure within a fast-paced environment and execute high volumes of trades in different regions and products simultaneously. Demonstrated experience of delivering process improvement, building scalable processes and increasing desk efficiencies. Excellent collaborator, able to work with a wide range of personnel and teams to support the business proactively.
