Job Responsibility:
We seek a hands-on finance professional with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to support the Instrument Service Europe finance team as a Financial Analyst. This position will be responsible for supporting EMEA Instrument Services for CMD Service and Molecular Services.
In this role, they will primarily focus on FP&A activities and financial processes within the SAP/ERP system to enable better forecasting, consolidate regional key financial metrics, and understand key business trends and dynamics. Additionally, you will be in charge the weekly global reporting of revenues, bookings, and headcount at the Division Leadership Team (DLT) level, providing insights on risks and opportunities for each quarter.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for global headcount (HC) reporting for CMD and Molecular Service, specifically for reports presented to the Division Leadership Team (DLT)
- Support and drive the consolidation of CMD IS and MOL IS weekly global reporting for revenues, bookings, and risk/opportunity assessments.
- Lead and facilitate Europe financials reporting for CMD IS and MOL IS (backlog, booking, revenue, gross margin and EBITA), this covers weekly pacing, monthly MBR, and the Annual Operating Plan.
- Collaborates with the regional operational and sales team to develop and supervise departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conducts ad-hoc financial analysis as requested, providing timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making.
- Takes ownership for tracking, analyzing, and forecasting costs to strengthen quality of cost control, cost allocation, and planning processes.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data.
- Ability to carry out specific projects and meet goals, working with global and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with the Instrument Service Finance team to prepare and improve analysis, forecasting, data loading in PLN, and reporting of key important metrics such as headcount, P&L, and order bookings.
- Collaborate with Finance Shared Services and Controllership to maintain and develop robust processes for financial and accounting reporting.
- Drive standardization and automatization procedures for improvements in execution and cost efficiency.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree is required. Preferably in accounting, finance, math, or computer science
- A proven track record within Finance.
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical capabilities with solid knowledge of Excel
- Operational Improvement Attitude! A proactive approach to finding opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies within the organization
- Strong financial systems capabilities.
- Very accurate, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
