The ones that enable our growth.We now have an exciting opportunity for an Online Merchandiser to join our Direct team at our Support Centre in Swindon.The main purpose of an Online Merchandiser Central Operations is to work with the Trading and Marketing teams to provide an engaging shopping experience for our customers by optimising product display, category display and on-site content. You will be responsible for updating products and categories on the site and ensuring that end to end journeys are optimised with landing pages for marketing campaigns. You will own content across the website, supporting the Marketing controller with SEO content, enhancing product content and optimising customer web experience to drive CRO.What you will be doing

  • Responsibility for the online product catalogue ensuring correct information, images and pricing with optimised descriptions

  • Optimising product listings and categories for streamlined customer experience and ease of browse, find and purchase

  • Optimising product listings for SEO and paid search to enhance visibility and drive traffic

  • Working closely with Marketing Controller to deliver SEO content in an accurate way, including creating copy for key pages in line with keyword targets

  • Continuously driving to improve the customer experience through the funnel including navigation, product findability and purchase

  • Ensuring campaign activations and new products are launched in line with briefs and on time across the site

  • Monitoring and assessing performance of imported feeds for both inventory and content to assure correct content is displayed

  • Conducting regular site audits to ensure a seamless shopping experience and address issues in a timely manner

  • Monitoring onsite performance of storefront reporting on key onsite metrics across cvr, ctr, page performance, search performance

  • Quality Assessing product and category updates to ensure proper presentation

What we are looking for

  • Ability to analyse and interpret data

  • Experience using ecommerce content management systems

  • An understanding of staging environments. Basic HTML coding a plus.

  • Ability to prioritise a number of tasks and work calmly under pressure

  • Attention to detail and understanding of journey optimisation
