Job Responsibility:

Smith's (Gloucester) Ltd are currently recruiting - DrainageOperative to join our team.

Training can be provided for those individuals who have an interest but no experience.

Day to day duties will include:

• CCTV Drain Surveys
• High Pressure Water Jetting (Root Cutting, De-Greasing, Sewer Cleansing)
• Manhole Surveys
• Confined Space Entry
• The works will be a mixture of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic Works

The ideal candidate will have:

• A full UK driving licence. A class 2 tanker licence is desirable but not essential.
• Able to use your own initiative and produce work accurately and to a high standard.
• A can-do attitude, with the flexibility to work overtime as required (we aim to keep “sociable” hours throughout the week, but some jobs require travel).
• The ability and attitude to work alone or in a team.
• A professional attitude to health and safety.
• The capability to learn new systems and attentiveness to completing paperwork.
• Be physically fit and used to manual work.

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (Preferred)
• Driving Licence (Required)
• HGV Licence (Desirable)
• NADC (Desirable)
• Confined Space (Desirable)
• First Aid at Work (Desirable)
• Cat & Genny Cable Avoidance (Desirable)
• NRSWA (Desirable)
• WJA (Desirable)
