Job Responsibility:

We are recruiting for an Audiology Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. As an Assistant Administrator you will work under direct or indirect supervision providing administration support to the service. Often working independently, you will work with the administration team to help book appointments, check patients in and take telephone calls. You may have to contact other departments in the Hospital including the Ear, Nose and Throat Secretaries, Central Appointments, the Speech and Language team and other Audiology departments. Dealing with incoming referrals, ensuring information is added appropriately to the relevant system Booking appointments into clinics as directed by the clinician. Sending relevant communications to patients about their appointment (letter, text system) Checking patients in for the appointment and providing any relevant information prior to or after their appointment Booking any follow up appointments as required Managing enquiries received via email and ensuring each is dealt with appropriately.
