This exciting new position will lead the Council's efforts to prevent homelessness in Shropshire. The Council are looking to transform our service to be proactive, assisting those threatened with homelessness to protect them in their existing homes or find alternative accommodation before becoming homeless. In this way the Council hope to avoid the crisis of losing a home and end the use of B&B as emergency accommodation. We are therefore looking for someone with experience of preventing homelessness who has the drive to change and improve our services.
