What You'll Be Doing
As a Case Handler, you'll be at the heart of our vehicle hire and repair process, supporting clients after a non-fault road traffic accident. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling your own caseload of vehicle repair and hire claims.
- Coordinating urgent vehicle recovery, secure storage, and repair bookings.
- Determining clients' eligibility for hire vehicles and arranging bookings.
- Reviewing defendant evidence and preparing rebuttals.
- Communicating with body shops to agree repair rates and schedules.
- Meeting deadlines and targets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
This role is fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle, working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM). You'll also be part of a rota covering the occasional late shift until 8:00 PM and one in three weekend shifts.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for motivated, proactive individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience in customer service (contact centre experience is a plus!).
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in claims handling, case management, or working to KPIs is an advantage but not essential!
