Data & Systems Administrator within our Academic Registry Team QA Higher Education, Fulltime & Permanent Opportunity Home based with very occasional travel Are you process and data driven? Do you enjoy working with systems to ensure effective use for all users? About our role As Data & Systems Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Registry systems and processes, including the data that drives them. Developing the systems, testing & auditing are the key drivers for our role. Ideally you will have experience in the education sector, have good communication skills and enjoy training others to use and gain the most from the student records system. Are you able to problem solve, make decisions, where attention to detail, ability to multi-task and have Excellent Excel & IT skills are a must? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Here's some of what's involved: (click through for the full JD) To play a key role in the effective development, testing, operation and enhancement of our Registry systems. To audit data held in the systems as per the audit schedule. Identify discrepancies and make amendments where needed. To support the Registry Systems Lead with identifying improvements of the registry systems and processes and assist with trouble shooting/problem solving. To proactively communicate system changes/process improvements to stakeholders and provide training to users. To play a key role in Registry department projects that aim to improve current processes and maximise system potential. To lead and/or support in the delivery of workshops and training events related to registry systems to users.
Bring your experience: Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale Experience of managing and prioritising complex workloads Administrative experience within the education sector Proven ability to identify and solve problems through innovative thinking. Highly developed IT skills - EXCEL skills a must have
