The Guinness Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Carer to join our dedicated team at Haydon Court on a part time basis.

Haydon Court is an Extra Care Scheme, where older people live as independently as possible in their own apartment, and as part of a community. We are on hand to provide care and support; we are proud to make a real difference to our customer's quality of life.

You could be an experienced Senior Carer looking for a new opportunity with an organisation that has great values, or you could be an experienced Carer who is looking to step up into their next role. You will need to have strong communication and good IT skills.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you would be responsible for:

  • Supporting new and existing team members to deliver high standards of care.
  • Supervise and monitor staff performance.
  • Ensure that customer care plans and risk assessments are followed and contribute to regular reviews of these plans.
  • Support with recruitment and training of new team members
  • Work in partnership with external agencies involved in the planning, provision and monitoring of support to customers.
  • Be fully aware of all policies and procedures and follow as appropriate
  • Participate in the evening and weekends on-call rota.
