Job Description :

Ideally, the consultant should reside in the UK, be able to be onsite with the Chorley team during testing and other critical milestones and have some Oracle experience. General work/meetings:

• Attend Monday and Friday BEST huddle meetings- Report out on the ongoing UK MFG/SCP/INV work and escalate any concerns to the group

• A UK Ops resource is needed to own Project BEST issues, track down solutions, report on this issues and once an issue is resolved, test/validate that the change was acceptable – For Neil, these are generally related to procurement, contract manufacturing, inventory transfers, inventory management/reconciliation and planning

• Attend Wednesday CRITICAL Spira incident meeting- Be ready to speak on any UK MFG/SCP/INV-related Spira incidents (with Accenture resource)

Same Ops responsibility as above: business process ownership.

Process definition and testing

• Ops Resource facilitates end to end testing. . (GG UK 3PL) receives sales orders and work orders (via a report). completes work orders and sends completion report back to GG, so that Neil/Ops resource can complete the work orders and update inventory (hands on keyboard).

• For go live, this Ops resource must be identified who will be responsible for closing work orders every day prior to the shipment file being received and processed in Oracle.

For go live, this Ops resource must be identified who will review inventory reports received from Torque, so that inventory can be reconciled in Oracle.

UAT Testing and Test Prep

• Determine the UAT test scripts that should be executed during UAT (Dustin can provide some coordination).

Ops resource must test during UAT – Hands on keyboard, tracking test results in SpiraTest, logging issues, retesting fixes, attend testing meetings. Some of the testing may be cross-track with other functions.

End to End (E2E) Testing

• Prior to E2E testing beginning, PMO to define tests that should be run during this test cycle

participate in testing, hands on keyboard, using SpiraTest – Similar to UAT, but longer, more cross functional testing

End User Training (EUT)

• Prep – Ops resource must work with (OCM) and Accenture to ensure training materials are prepared

• Prep – Ops resource must identify users who will be executing Oracle tasks and who must be trained

• Prep/Execute – Ops resource must schedule and lead training

Production Cost Roll (Cut Over Activity) Cut-Over Week

• Prep/Prior – ensure that all lot controlled items are identified. Helps define outage window -to build up inventory, so that shipping can continue during outage.

• Prep/Prior – Ops resource to convert kits that are high runners to make to stock items

During Cut-Over – Ops resource obtains on-hand inventory balances (report) with lot numbers/dates to be loaded into Oracle. Ops resource works with Accenture and PMO to load inventory and validate for go-live.

Go Live + Hypercare

• Ops resource supports go live, assist team on ground with issues, logging in, etc. Boots on the ground lead for Oracle operations processes.
