Beesley and Fildes Ltd are currently recruiting for an Counter Sales Operative to work out of our branch based in Widnes. As a Counter Sales Operative you will be responsible for providing a 'first point' of call for customer and maintaining high levels of customer service to maximise sales potential. Pay: £11.44-£12.00

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 & alternating Saturday 08:00 -12:00

Main Duties

• Follow up and file quotations issued to check competitiveness and to secure sales
• Merchandising front of house / shop floor
• Assisting customers over the telephone
• Assisting customers face to face within the branch
• Dealing with suppliers
• Ongoing product training and development
• Monthly stock take

Requirements/Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• MS Office proficient
• Strong sales background
• Knowledge of the Builders Merchant / Construction sectors(Preferred)
