Job Responsibility:

Bike and Boot is a new leisure-orientated hotel brand for the 21st Century that directly addresses the UK leisure market in a way that no other operator is presently doing. It has a modern approach to the general consumer market and it addresses well-defined consumer groups.

Bike and Boot includes:

. A Budget-Luxe hotel with design-led bedrooms.

. Self check-in & check-out.

. A Retreat lounge for resident guests only, providing complimentary refreshments 24-hrs a day.

. A Bareca - an all-day ar and grill operation, trading to the local marketas well as hotel guests, with a menu featuring casual all-day food, pizza, pasta and grills - and a host of orgional cocktails.

. A Wadobi - specialist facilities for walkers, dog owners, cyclists, vintage car drivers and motorcyclists - with secure storage, drying room and maintenance facilities.

. A film Club - showing films three times a day for hotel guests.

We have an all-day Bar/Restaurant/ Café operation - more handily known as a Bareca. Here, we serve breakfast, all-day coffees & cakes, lunch, dinner and cocktails, operating across eighteen hours per day.

Our Servers operate all of these shifts and are the principle customer contact.

. To ensure that the Bareca service standards are consistently delivered in relation to hot drinks, cold drinks and general service whilst on duty.

. To apply the standard recipes and service standards for all food and beverages.

. To act in cooperative way with colleagues from all departments to coordinate and enhance our customers experience.

. Ability to communicate harmoniously and positively with customers and colleagues, creating a productive working environment.

. Ability to apply the operating standards of the departments to the Bike and Boot standards.

. Ability to be pro-active at the customer interface, interacting with customers every day and providing an example to other team members.

. A good working understanding of the hotel booking and billing system, the website and the EP0S system.

. Safety - the job requires you to apply the safety procedures, which includes the application of fire safety procedures in the interests of customers and colleagues.

. Dependability - job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

. Attention to Detail - job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

. Self Control - this job requires you to maintain composure, keeping emotions in check, avoiding aggressive behaviour, even in very difficult situations.

Pay: £12.35 per hour
