Job Responsibility:

We are looking for individuals who wish to do some volunteering in our Summer 2024 Holiday club from 29th of July 2024 to 23rd of August.

• The successful applicant will be responsible for setting up play area, taking risk assessment checks & imparting club rules.
• Implementation of our schedule of activities should be followed which sets out which activities will be done on a day to day basis.
• The activity should then be organised & supervised from a health and safety prospective.
• Assisting with snack preparation and clearing away after children have eaten.
• helping practitioner in managing and implementing activities.
• able to plan activities that engages children's interest.
• active and passionate to engage with children in their activities.

Main duties include:

• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
• Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
• Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are meet.
• Administering first aid when necessary.
• Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
• Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and school.
• Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
• Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
• Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
• To contribute to a high quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities
