## OverviewWe are seeking a creative and experienced Tailors and dressmakers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing new collections that align with our Afrocentric fashion ethos also have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for design. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative and stylish clothing collections.

## Duties

- Create original designs that reflect the company's brand identity and cultural focus.

- Develop and present mood boards, sketches, and design concepts.

- Select fabrics, colors, and embellishments for each design.

- Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

- Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and incorporate them into designs.

- Develop and create original designs for clothing and accessories- Use software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD for design purposes- Create digital designs and sketches for garments- Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life- Stay updated on current fashion trends and incorporate them into designs- Conduct research on fabrics, colours, and techniques- Oversee the production process to ensure designs are accurately executed

## Qualifications- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, CAD, CSS, HTML5, and other design software- Strong skills in digital design, sketching, and graphic design- Knowledge of photography for fashion shoots is advantageous- Familiarity with Maya for 3D design is a plus- Creative flair with a strong understanding of colour, texture, and shape- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: £31,500.00-£37,837.59 per year
