Job Description : We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Flexibly Employed Breast Radiologist to join our friendly Radiology and Breast Team at Dorset County Hospital. The appointee will join the Breast team providing specialist symptomatic Breast services to the population of West Dorset and the adjoining areas. The main duties and responsibilities would be:

• To provide a high quality and effective symptomatic Radiology breast service to the population of West Dorset and the adjoining areas.
• To be able to deliver specialist diagnostic imaging, including biopsies during symptomatic clinic.
• To report Breast MRI to a high standard
• To fulfill continuing professional development requirements in line with clinical governance.

The Radiology Department at Dorset County Hospital is a progressive, patient focused department and is highly regarded by the clinical teams that use our services. The department is a busy district general hospital department providing CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, symptomatic breast services and plain film and is also a friendly place to work with an excellent working relationship between all staff within the department regardless of position. As a flexibly employed Consultant, activity would be agreed on an ad hoc basis with the management team and the clinical lead for Breast Radiology.
