A team player, you should have excellent communications skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and the confidence to work with multiple personalities with competing requirements.
Reporting to the Faculty of Science and Technology Communication and Marketing Manager, this role supports the Faculty's recruitment and marketing plans by creating high quality digital content, engaging and compelling written content and liaising with our media buying agency to plan and deliver advertising campaigns.
You will lead the development and maintenance of our Faculty website, creating new pages, updating existing pages and ensuring that the content remains of the highest quality and meets the needs of the target audience. You will also create subject content for course pages including written copy, videos and photography. You will be familiar with content management systems, WordPress, and be able to troubleshoot any issues.
You will have the ability to film and edit in-house videos, and work with external agencies to create professional videos. This requires a high level of organisational and interpersonal skills.
Experience of working with media agencies to plan advertising campaigns and develop creative assets for digital channels such as paid search, paid social media and third party platforms is required.
You will be supported by a Marketing Co-ordinator, and there is the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by working with the role holder to improve their marketing expertise.
This is a busy role and you must have the ability to multi-task, to self-motivate and to manage your own workload. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential.
The role is hybrid with a minimum of two days on campus (Wednesday and Thursday).
