We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial role in optimizing product placement, enhancing customer experience, and driving sales within the Bayley & Sage retail environment. This position involves analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to develop and plan effective merchandising strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement merchandising plans that align with the company's business goals.

Responsibilities:

Create, implement and drive merchandising plans, work scope and activities.

Coordinate Stores' layouts and displays liaising with Stores and Buyers to maximize sales and reflect promotional planner, ensuring adherence to the company's merchandising philosophy at all times

Develop and manage all merchandising communication and liaise with Marketing, Buying, Area Managers and Store Managers.

Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product placement and merchandising improvements.

Develop and implement data-driven merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales.

Work closely with purchasing, marketing, and store operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising plans

Track and report on the performance of merchandising initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on merchandising performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.

Provide training and support to store staff on merchandising best practices and new initiatives.

Prepare Seasonal merchandising plans for fresh products four times per year: Spring/Summer - Autumn/Winter - Christmas - New Year).

Salary: £30,000 to 35,000/annual
