In this role you will be responsible for driving data analytics and strategic & actionable insights for the Retail Sales Teams in the UK & Ireland which will be essential to define Apple's retail sales strategy and and influence Apple's retail partners. You will be responsible for providing a deep understanding of consumer, retailers, retail market trends and dynamics in the UK & Ireland, gathering relevant data from internal and external sources and driving in depth data analytics. You build internal relationships, collaborate closely with Worldwide and EMEA business development teams, North sales teams, cross-functional teams and external partners to maximise and grow Apple's business in the UK and Ireland. Description Responsible for ensuring data and analytics drive commercial and strategic insights that enable key Sales decisions across product categories for UKI Retail partners for short and long term success Work with internal and external (channel partner or third party) data to identify new opportunities and mechanisms to optimize Apple's sales with UKI retailers Assess the potential and effectiveness of new sales initiatives, partnerships and programs against performance benchmarks and investment levers Support the evolution of innovative commercial strategies and initial sell-in of recommended actions Communicate efficiently and effectively within the team and external senior management partners Develop and manage the cadence for consistent reporting of key consumer and market trends, partner performance and data best practices Support the weekly, quarterly and annual sales reviews (sales weekly reviews, quarterly sales planning , strategic and executive reviews) Work closely with WW, EMEA and North business development sales team to support the development of advanced Data and Analytics capabilities Minimum Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related field
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Proven knowledge of relevant market drivers; deep understanding of consumer trends and their potential impact on the UKI retailer business
    • Commercial insight experience in complex consumer electronic reseller and commercial markets, with deep familiarity with the retailer route to market and product set
    • Experience in category management and decision-making process of external customers
    • Ability to think strategically to see the big picture while working with ambiguity and uncertainty
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results of analysis in easy-to-understand business terms
    • High attention to detail. Passion for using data to create a vision and take retail partners on a journey through fact based evidence and insights.
    • Thrives in a dynamic, demanding environment
    • Ability to approach projects analytically, high level of numeracy and data management capabilities
    • Ability to conduct complex data heavy analysis, advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills
