Job Responsibility:

Priddy Books, a children's publisher of baby, pre-school and novelty books, is looking for a Production Assistant.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-organised person to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in children's publishing and gain valuable office experience. Responsibilities:
  • Managing the production of reprints and co-editions, from concept to delivery
  • Liaising with suppliers to get quotes and schedules
  • Raising purchase orders and monitoring the progression of a schedule
  • Working closely with the in-house creative teams
  • Co-ordinating shipping and delivery requirements
  • Maintaining compliance documents and technical files on reprint titles
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be proactive and self-motivated. They will also be able to work well as part of a team, and will be keen to learn about all aspects of book production.

Job Description

This is a full time, fixed term role (one year contract), and will be based in our offices in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this role.

Salary: £26,500
