Job Responsibility:

Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Doncaster

Hours: Monday to Friday

Shift patterns: 08:00am - 16:00pm

Trust Location: Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals,Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Thorne Road, Doncaster, DN2 5LT

What you'll be responsible for:

· Provide high standards of customer service whilst managing the arrangements for new tenants and to maintain good levels of communication with all stakeholders.

· Provide confidential administrative and clerical support to the Service and undertake word processing and photocopying as directed.

· Maintain and issue keys to residents, maintenance, Services Department staff and other authorised staff as appropriate, ensuring that high levels of security are maintained within the residences at all times.

· Investigate complaints from tenants and recommend any action necessary, liaising with the Facilities (Accommodation) Manager and tenants department managers where required.

· Carry out the booking & allocation of all residential accommodation at Doncaster Royal Infirmary (on and off site).

· Use a variety of computer software packages such as excel spreadsheets, word, Microsoft teams, office etc.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

· Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel

· Communications skills- both verbal and written

· High level of organisation skills.

· Experience in a similar role

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
