Job Responsibility:

Archer UK currently have an opportunity for a full time Regional Finance Controller for our Well Services Division (UK and Africa Region). The role will work in partnership with Regional Management to implement strategic growth and maximise financial performance for the business. The Region Controller will ensure that financial reports, budgets, forecasts, data, and analysis are properly prepared and presented to Regional Management and will act as an adviser to support business decision making. The role is also accountable for statutory and tax compliance across the region and must also ensure compliance with internal processes, procedures, and controls. The successful candidate will be aligned with our values by demonstrating that safety and performance is priority, can work well in a team and be enthusiastic and energetic about the work they do. Candidates should be task focused, take responsibility for their work and always show good attention to detail. The Region Controller must have a growth mindset and facilitate continuous improvement of financial processes This role will be based in our Blackburn premises in Aberdeen with an expectation to be in the office daily to support the team. Education

• Qualified Accountant

Experience

• Minimum 5-10 year of experience in operational finance roles, preferably in the oil & gas service industry supporting senior management.
• Good people management and leadership skills
• Strong background in internal controls and compliance
• Excellent skills in Excel and data analytics
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Foreign branch accounting experience, understanding of PE issues and tax regimes.
• Cash flow and working capital management (credit control and inventory management)
• Very good presentation skills
