As such, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our Water Team in Glasgow.

Our Civil Engineers work across the project lifecycle in asset planning / strategy, concept design, outline design and detailed design, within our design and build joint ventures. We work on a variety of project sectors across the UK and Ireland, including clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

You'll be responsible for the development of the civil engineering design, guided by our Project Technical Leads and Senior / Principal Civil Engineers within the team. You will also have the opportunity to work on frameworks across the UK and Ireland, collaborating with colleagues, external organisations, partners & stakeholders nationwide.

About You

You'll have a degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject) and be working toward Chartered status with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.

You will also have a passion for the Water & Environment sector, with experience of delivering community focused projects and working collaborative with project teams to develop innovative solutions. This experience will have been achieved in wastewater infrastructure, including the delivery of sewer flooding and pollution projects, ideally with a focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage and Surface Water Management.

Finally, you will have experience of working in a client facing role, leading client engagement and collaboration on a regular basis.
