Job Description : Medical Secretary | Maternity Cover 12 months fixed term | Secretarial | Full-time | Slough Spire Thames Valley are seeking an experience Medical secretary for a 12 month fixed term, maternity cover post. This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week site based. You will be working with the consultant covering Urology.

Duties and responsibilities

• To provide a proficient and professional medical service to consultants, providing cover as and when required to other members of the department.
• Acting as point of contact for patient enquiries, offering outstanding customer service at all times.
• Liaising with patients on a daily basis, handling queries and arranging admissions as and when required, in a professional and courteous manner

Who we're looking for

• Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
• Experience working as a medical secretary in a similar environment
• Must be a good communicator and have good computer literacy
• Someone who works well as part of a team
