Job Responsibility:

Salary: £28,119 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

Location: Crewe, CW1 3PL

The successful candidate will assist in providing core coordination and reporting activities in an accurate and timely manner using agreed business systems and processes. They will also provide support to enable the Operations, Finance & Business Managers to manage the Bentley Contract effectively and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing internal help desk for Bentley
  • Single point of contact for all incoming requests from Bentley team and responding within agreed time frames
  • Liaising with internal and external collection and disposal locations to arrange collections in line with Bentley requirements.
  • Using the Salesforce system to log activity and produce SLA reporting on a monthly basis
  • Arranging all waste collections as requested by site.
  • Liaising with external and internal suppliers and Contract Managers to comprehensively collate and reconcile month end details for reporting
  • Financial reporting of activities in line with Management Accounting expectations
  • Raising, communicating and receipting purchase orders for all activities
  • Raising, communication and arranging hazardous EA consignment notes.
  • Ensuring all any payroll is completed in line with deadlines
  • Carrying out retrospective investigation into month-end anomalies or unexpected results and report to SCM and relevant CM.
  • Assisting the Management Accountant to report accurate and comprehensive financial reporting each month
  • Support SCM/CMs and Management accountant in preparation in annual budgets

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • IT literacy skills including Microsoft Office (particularly good standard skills in Excel). Google suite of applications.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in an isolated role with sole responsibility for a single contract
  • AAT qualification would be beneficial
