Location: Bridgwater

  • Build and maintain working relationships between the client and Bilfinger team to ensure effective communication and understanding of materials and logistics activities throughout the project activities.
  • Responsible for all movement of materials from receiving stock from vendors and Bilfinger’s fabrication shop to delivery of stock to the point of need on the site in a safe, timely and precise manner.
  • Maintain and update all material documentation, e.g. quality and stock records are up to date and are accurate at all times.
  • Identify and manage with any stock discrepancies, material quality issues and late with external parties ensuring resolution of issues and mitigating potential project delays and costs.
  • Identify and develop improvements to the effective management of stock and movement to ensure seamless, just in time logistics activity.
  • Manage Stores personnel to ensure all materials stores and logistics activities are achieved in line with project requirements
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping and safe working practices at all time to ensure all Stores and logistics personnel adhere to HSE Regulations in all work areas
  • Manage and ensure the maintenance of Plant & Equipment to ensure safe use at all times.
