Job Responsibility:

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant/Book keeper to join our small finance team. The group involved three seperate divisions so recording financial information for all three is required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management and proficiency in accounting software.

Duties

• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Prepare weekly payroll information to send to outsourced payroll provider.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports in accordance with financial accounting standards for group.
• Utilise accounting software Sage for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices within the financial services industry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software Sage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to contribute positively to small team dynamics.
• No professional required but proven track record of retaining company records required.
