Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure they are labelled correctly.
• Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications as needed.
• Support medication administration processes under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace to promote a safe environment.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medication administration practices and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of dispensing medications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
