This pivotal role will involve:

  • Providing first-class technical editing support to the Incident Analysis Group (IAG)
  • Reviewing and editing draft investigation reports or other documents, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high standards
  • Liaising closely with investigators to provide appropriate edits and constructive feedback
  • Maintaining and updating our style guide and providing written English training and mentoring to the team

This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

What You'll Bring

  • A high standard of written English competency
  • Experience in technical editing within a technical framework
  • An understanding of incident and accident investigation procedures is desirable
  • A knowledge of the maritime industry is advantageous
