Job Responsibility:

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Compliance Supervisor to join our team in the South on a permanent basis. This role will be a mobile position where you will be responsible for ensuring compliance is maintained for the company across a variety of sites within MoD Core.

Responsibilities:

• Produce comprehensive records for scheduled audits such as the audit report and any generated Non-conformance reports.
• Ensure actions, which will include ‘Non-conformances, Observations and Opportunities for Improvement' which have been identified during audits, are followed up for closure
• Provide Technical advice, guidance and support where required
• Review test certification from engineers and contractors
• Communicate and liaise with clients AP's and act as the point of contact for the clients AP's
• Ensure Safe Systems of work are adhered to
• Monitor quality of work on the sites
• Supervise compliance of a team of gas engineers
• Assist with maintenance work if required
• Attend meetings where required to provide information on reports and audits completed

Requirements:

• Previous experience of a supervisory role
• strong understanding of gas compliance regulations within both domestic and commercial environments
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of domestic and commercial gas works
• Commercial gas qualification COCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1
• Competent in using Excel and Word
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
