Job Description :
We are looking for a trainee mechanical estimator to join our busy team at Laser Mechanical and Electrical Ltd.
Some experience in mechanical and plumbing would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role is part of the estimating team to estimate mechanical tenders for our clients, the job is varied and diverse with no two days the same. As a trainee you will be working under the guidance of our lead estimator, so that you can fully develop the skills and experience required.
Responsibilities:
– Support the estimating team throughout the estimating process
– Review estimating documents prior to approval
– Take offs form drawings
– Requirement to engage with our supply chain for project enquiries
Skills and knowledge:
– Experience in plumbing and mechanical industry is preferred but not essential
– Good IT skills
– Excellent communication skills
– A great attitude and a willingness to learn

– Salary £22,230 – £26,000 dependant on experience.
