Your Role

As a Debt Recovery Team Leader, you'll play a key role in driving performance and ensuring the success of your team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Debt Recovery Paralegals.
  • Setting goals and driving performance to meet monthly and annual targets.
  • Identifying training and development needs to help your team succeed.
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service.
  • Overseeing debt recovery processes, from negotiation through to legal proceedings.
  • Working closely with legal teams and external agencies to achieve successful outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings expertise, leadership, and a proactive mindset. You should have:

  • At least 12 months of leadership experiencemotivating, coaching and developing a team, preferably in a legal or debt recovery setting.
  • A strong background in debt recovery litigation and breach of contract claims.
  • Knowledge of Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and performance targets.
  • Able to work in a fully office based role
