Job Title: Willow Farm Activity Tutor
Pay Scale:£25,773.00 - £29,964
Responsible to: Outdoor Education Manager
Do you have a genuine interest in farming, animal welfare and horticulture. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competent animal husbandry skills, plus overall farm maintenance and infrastructure. Are you a team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to undertake necessary duties. Responsible for the creation and delivery of fun farm activities, making animal husbandry, farming and horticulture accessible to students attending our farm in Aldingbourne, Chichester.
Own transport essential due to location.
Main duties:
· To ensure the general welfare of livestock at the farm, including during periods of absence, such as annual leave
· To maintain the animal areas in a functional and presentable condition
· To look after animals on the site
· To operate an efficient watering system for livestock
· To follow guidance and regulations as set out by DEFRA and other relevant agencies
· To maintain machinery, tools etc. in good condition
· To work as a team in making the farm activities accessible to students
· To ensure all risk assessments are in place and up to date

Working Hours 8.30am - 4.30pm
· Your working hours include time for setting up and organising the session, as well as debriefing and clearing up time at the end of the session.
· You may be expected, on occasions, to attend training, planning or appraisal sessions outside your normal working hours.
