Due to expansion, we are looking for both a qualified Workshop Engineer and an Apprentice to join our growing team. Working in a supportive and well-equipped environment, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of plant equipment.

The ApprenticeshipJoin us for a 24-month apprenticeship program that will set you up with the skills to become a successful Plant Machinery Mechanic. This is an exciting time to join us as plant technology advances rapidly, offering endless learning opportunities.

After successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be offered a permanent role with one of the best rental equipment providers in the industry. You'll gain hands-on experience and receive continuous mentorship and development from experts in the field.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide variety of plant machinery within the workshop.
• Performing fault-finding diagnostics and rectifying issues using your growing knowledge.
• Using supplied lifting equipment to repair and maintain machines effectively.
• Moving plant machinery inside and outside of the workshop as needed.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems independently.
• Communicating with the Workshop Manager regarding mechanical failures and progress updates.
• Managing parts and supplies for repairs efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensuring all work complies with company and legislative Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Acting as an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, ensuring both colleagues and customers feel valued and informed.
• Expanding your teamwork and problem-solving skills within a collaborative environment.
• Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced workshop environment.
