Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development while fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Communicate effectively in English with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
• Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
• Provide leadership by guiding children in their interactions with peers and encouraging positive behaviour.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare environment to ensure it is welcoming and safe.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
• Drive to various locations if required for outings or activities outside the nursery.

Requirements

Must have a level 2 in child care

• Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
• A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children and families.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
• Leadership qualities that inspire trust and confidence among children.
• A genuine love for working with children and commitment to their development.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the childcare environment.
