Job Responsibility:
Job Summary:
Reporting into the Shift Leader, looking after Goods Receiving, storing, picking & packing and distributing goods internally to achieve short- and long-term goals and KPI's.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with Warehouse to ensure stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPI's are met
- Reviews material waste and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
- Reviews deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
- Responsible for keeping all ordering activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria
- Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and ensures GG Suppliers are performing to high standards with the support of Procurement
Qualifications:
Education:
- GCSE level or equivalent/High School Diploma or GED required
- Certification in food safety and/or sanitation preferred
Work Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- A forklift truck license and/or license to drive assisted lift equipment is preferable
- Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security
- Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with warehousing, production etc
- Previous experience in materials management and control supporting Make & Pack / Pick & Pack / Wash & Pack, managing inventories and interfacing with various functional areas
Other Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
