Job Description : The post holder will provide the highest standard of care and support for patients participating in the national Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and will practice autonomously with responsibility for assessing patients fitness for colonoscopy, informing and supporting individuals throughout the screening pathway. The post is varied and includes providing nurse-led clinics for individuals who have tested positive for Faecal Occult Blood as part of the Programme; attending colonoscopy lists, processing histology outcomes and providing results including cancer diagnosis.
