OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transportation Coordinator with potential hiab experience/knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the day to day planning of specialist lorry mounted crane vehicles (hiabs)

Responsibilities

• plan and co-ordinate daily hiab vehicle movement and jobs
• work closely with different clients and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
• schedule and route deliveries including abnormal loads to maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining compliance with drivers tachograph hours and working regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including invoices, delivery/collection confirmations and PODs
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise logistics processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding transportation operations.
• Analyse transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Experience

• Previous experience in logistics or transportation coordination is preferred.
• previous experience in Hiab transportation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities to address challenges as they arise.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices is advantageous.
