Role OverviewHere at Oxfam Magdalen Street, we are currently recruiting for volunteers to help us in our stockroom. We are a busy shop, and are extremely fortunate with the donations that we receive. This role would give you the opportunity to become part of the team that helps us to process these donations and goods, and get them ready for sale and on the shop floor! As a Stockroom Volunteer, you may be:

• Welcoming donors into the shop
• Helping donors into our backrooms with their donations
• Sorting through donations and distributing them within the backrooms of the shop
• Researching the value of donations
• Pricing up donations and displaying them on the shop floor

Desirable SkillsYou will be the type of person who:

• is well organised and happy to get stuck in
• is able to do some heavy lifting - who needs the gym when you can volunteer here instead!
• has a friendly disposition and is able to work as part of a team
• is able to use their own initiative

No previous experience is required, as all training and a full induction will be provided - so you just need a willingness to learn!
