Job Description :

Comficare are looking for both full and part time care assistants to join our small, friendly team on a permanent basis and grow with us to maintain an outstanding service.

We are community based so your own transport is essential and due to the timings of calls, applicants should be within the Bideford/Barnstaple areas.

The current roster includes morning, lunch, tea and bed calls that are spread out over the day which gives staff the opportunity to still enjoy their own time, even on working days. We offer full training so no experience is required and if you have experience in other sectors such as retail or hospitality, those experiences are valuable to us and can be helpful when offering support. As a care assistant you will be required to support people who may be elderly or have physical disabilities, health problems or conditions such as dementia.

Carers are required to work alternate weekends. We offer the following:

• £12.25 per hour weekdays
• £13.25 per hour weekends
• Enhanced bank holiday pay
• Travel time paid at living wage
• 45 pence per mile tax free mileage allowance
• Fully paid mandatory training and shadowing hours
• 28 days paid holiday pro rata
