**Job Title: Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) – Alder Unit (CAMHS)**

**Location:** Cheshire, SK8 (Free onsite parking & excellent transport links)

**Salary:** £47,494 – £53,448 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

**Contract:** Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

### **Leadership Opportunity in Specialist CAMHS**

We’re seeking an **experienced Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD)** to lead our **specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)** at Alder Unit. This pivotal role combines clinical leadership with operational management to deliver outstanding care to young people.

### **Your Ward Leadership Role Will Include:**

**Clinical & Operational Management:**

– Provide **strategic leadership** for our 15-bed CAMHS unit

– Ensure **full compliance** with NMC standards and CQC regulations

– Oversee **medication management** and physical health monitoring

**Team Development:**

– Lead, mentor and develop a **multidisciplinary team** of 20+ staff

– Implement **staff training programmes** in trauma-informed care

– Conduct **appraisals and performance reviews**

**Quality & Service Improvement:**

– Drive **continuous quality improvement** initiatives

– Monitor and report on **key performance indicators**

– Implement **evidence-based interventions** for complex cases

### **Essential Requirements:**

**Current NMC registration (RMN/RNLD)**

Minimum **3 years’ experience as a Ward Manager** in CAMHS

Proven **leadership in mental health settings**

Comprehensive knowledge of **safeguarding children procedures**

Experience with **restrictive practice reduction** strategies
