The role of Billing Assurance Specialist is really important to us. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness of revenue and customer satisfaction across a dynamic lead to cash process.

The Billing Assurance Specialist will play in key role in supporting the business change activities for the Telematics business unit to support our continued growth, which will include:

• Consolidating the existing customer onboarding processes to achieve economies of scale and to address any gaps in revenue leakage.
• Leading projects across multiple territories which will allow the business unit to reach strategic objectives.
• Supporting the release of new product offerings and platform migrations, ensuring that Finance requirements are met, and thorough testing is completed.
• Analysing and reconciling sales data to invoice data to ensure all customer charges are being applied in a clear and consistent manner.

Your responsibilities day to day will be

• Creating efficiencies and process improvements through standardisation; minimising off system processes, increasing controls and automation.
• Having a strong customer experience focus and placing significant importance on the customer onboarding journey.
• Working closely with the relevant business stakeholders to ensure the design of the new solutions are in line with requirements and will meet the expected business benefits.
• Evaluating and planning for the business change, ensuring that the business receives comprehensive communication and is thoroughly trained ahead of a launch.
• Ensuring that the implementation and testing of any new solutions meets the business requirements.

What do we expect of you?

• Experience of working in a similar finance related role.
• Strong knowledge of implementing end to end projects, including experience in requirements gathering, creating test cases, test execution, training, cutover and post go-live support.
• Experience of subscription-based models and associated controls.
• Experience of invoicing clients and other related tasks including Direct Debit collections.
• Experience of system implementations and process improvements.
• Experience of Sage, SAP, NetSuite is beneficial.
• Advanced Excel skills – including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up.
• Microsoft Access or SQL database experience required.
• Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
