Job Description :

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Contract Manager to take responsibility of the day-to-day operation for the busy Swindon site.

Responsibilities & Duties for the Warehouse Contract Manager Role:

• Responsible for the day to day operation, monitoring operational performance and effectiveness, acting where necessary to improve it
• Management of training, performance management and attendance
• Develop and manage long term relationships with customers
• Anticipate future changes in customer requirements, and adjust to maintain effective service levels.
• Identify issues that affect customer service performance and implement strategies for improvement
• Responsible for Health and Safety, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
• Fosters open communication with employees and other areas of the business to ensure effective team working.
• Performance management – providing direction and feedback
• Manage work schedules and staffing levels
• Manage budgets and operational costs

Key Skills / Experience required for the Warehouse Contract Manager role:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in warehousing / logistics or fulfilment industry
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Results driven
• Problem solving ability
• Stress resistant and flexible
• Ability to work in pressurised environment and to strict deadlines
• Proven leadership skills
