Job Description :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fantastic Lead Early Years Educator to join our team in our 2-5 room!

The ideal candidate will be experienced working with children age 2-5 and will be confident in leading and supporting the team to provide fun, engaging and exciting learning experiences for the children. The ideal candidate would also have a strong knowledge of early years guidance and legislation such as Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition amongst others.

An overview of the role:

– Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, provocations and experiences for the children- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow- Provide individualized attention and support to each child- Monitor and assess children’s development and progress- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child’s development- Maintain a clean, clutter-free and organized environment- Follow all health, safety and infection control processes

-Inspire others and motivate the team to ensure our children have the best experience possible

The ideal candidate will have:- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for children- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children- Strong organizational skills to manage throughout the day, including the deployment of staff, updating the online systems, monitoring quality of practice and communicating with parents.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead by example.
